Music in the Air was created by the Pass Christian Chamber of Commerce in 2001. Designed to raise awareness of the excellent public education system in our community, Music in the Air provides music and leadership scholarships to seniors living in Pass Christian, fosters youth leadership programs, heightens teacher recognition in the community and this year will also support small business development.
Each year, business owners, merchants and residents ban together to support Music in the Air. Last year this event was attended by over 350 residents. Based on the enthusiasm and exposure generated last Spring, we are anticipating record attendance in 2009 by over 400 participants. We have planned an exciting evening of entertainment culminating with a performance under the big tent by internationally renowned pianist Ronnie Kole. The tantalizing food provided by our guest chefs, wine and open bar will make the evening even more memorable this year.
